Des Digest: The Second Bite

June has been a hectic month for us here at Des McDonald Restaurant Consultancy despite the awful weather the month has bought.

We are excited to announce that we have agreed terms with new clients at The London Capital Club, a prestigious members club steeped in tradition just minutes away from Bank station. We’ll be creating an identity to their restaurant, Tavern at 15, in addition to developing a new menu full of classic dishes. We’ll also be adding a great events programme, working on all messaging and marketing to develop their relationships with both existing and new members. If you want a tour of the property and to hear more please drop me a line. For more information about London Capital Club please click here.

We have also opened the incredible venues Dalloway Terrace and Bloomsbury Club and at are working with the London Bloomsbury Hotel – watch this space – we have some really amazing makeover plans over the coming year for this hotel.

We also had a sneak peak at clients Marylebone Hotel’s ground floor plans, agreed with our friends Michaelis Boyd designers. The plans look stunning and we look forward to creating food and drink menus to match the impressive surroundings.

Plus an exciting new project in Grosvenor Square, which we’ll reveal in a later edition of the Des Digest.

Closer to home Des took part in a round table chat sponsored by PSL and the Caterer, it’s always great to spend time with Chris Galvin at such events.

Keeping Des fuelled this month: Great lunch at Les 110 de TallieventGalvin Bistro De LuxeBurger & Lobster Canary Wharf (a great addition across road from Des’ office). Drinks and dinner at hard hat party of The NED, Soho House’s latest exciting project in the city due to open Q1 17.

As always we’re keen to hear about your plans and projects and offer a wide range of advice amongst our highly trained and well respected consultants. Should you have time for a coffee, or a glass of rosé (it is summer after all) please do get in touch.
